Artful Sounds from Exotic Places: World’s Best Operas Coming to ClassicalNH

New Hampshire Public Radio’s classical music service ClassicalNH on 90.5 FM will bring opera performances from some of the world’s leading companies to the airwaves this summer and fall.

The 2021 WFMT Radio Network Opera Series will begin on Saturday, June 12 from 1 to 5 p.m. and run through Saturday, November 27, 2021. During the run of the series, listeners can hear the world’s best operas from the Royal Opera House in London, the Swedish Royal Opera, the Haymarket Opera in Chicago and more. The first set of 13 operas spans from June 12 through September 4 (with more to follow), and includes productions from the U.S., England, Sweden, and France, featuring exceptional casts and stunning performances.

Highlights of the WFMT Radio Network Opera Series for 2021 include:

NOTE: The remaining operas in the 2021 Opera Series will release in the coming months. The second part of the Opera Series will feature American opera companies, with selections from LA Opera, Opera Southwest, and more.
