POE & PRICE AT THE BETHLEHEM LIBRARY
Friday Oct. 12, 7 PM, the Bethlehem Public Library is showing a Vincent Price classic movie. After the film there will be a discussion of Poe's short story "The Fall of the House of Usher". Throughout October, children can stop in at the library and pick up a cryptography puzzle, and place their name on a rave to add to the Poe-tree. These programs are part of Bethlehem Library's participation in "The Big Read: NH Reads Edgar Allan Poe." This is a statewide project of the Center for the Book at the NH State Library.
TWELVE ANGRY MEN PERFORMED BY THE ST. JOHNSBURY PLAYERS
Friday Oct. 12, and Sat. Oct, 13, 7:30 PM, and Sunday Oct. 14 at 2 PM. Black Box Theater at Morse Center for the Arts, St. Johnsbury Academy. Tickets are $10 or $7 for students and can be purchased at the door or you can order tickets through Catamount Arts at 802 748 2600 or here.

SUGAR HILL FIRE PREVENTION AWARENESS EVENT
Saturday Oct. 13, 11 AM-2 PM, this event is for all ages but there will be special activities for children, view equipment, ask questions, obtain fire prevention information, view exhibits, partake of free hamburger & hot dog cookout and the chief's famous chowder. Also present will be the Franconia Life Squad offering free health screenings, the Pemigewasset Valley Search & Rescue Team providing HikeSafe information. All welcome - you do not need to be a Sugar Hill resident to attend.
