A new solar array for the town of Durham is nearing completion.

James Hasselbeck, operations manager for ReVision Energy, says the project will be the second largest solar array in the state.

"It's 640 kW on the DC side," Hasselbeck says, "which means there's exactly 2,100 solar modules there. It's going to be enough to provide power for all of the town of Durham's municipal buildings once it's up and running."

Construction began in March.

The company is holding a tour of the array Tuesday.
