The US Postal Service reported 23 dog bites in the state last year, and they’re raising additional awareness for their carriers and trying to prevent further bites.

On July 1, 1963, the U.S. Post Office Department introduced the ZIP code program to get a handle on the heaping surplus of mail. Today, those five digits represent much more for American society.

Louis DeJoy, an ally of President Trump, has come under fire in recent weeks for what's viewed as directives to slow down the USPS in order to suppress absentee or mail-in votes.
