Police say a Maine man accused of firing a gun in a shopping center parking lot in New Hampshire had multiple stolen firearms and a significant quantity of ammunition.

Police in Lee, New Hampshire, say 27-year-old Gordon Falt is a convicted felon who faces multiple charges stemming from the incident Saturday afternoon.
Falt is also facing at least two felony charges in Hancock County, Maine. Shoppers were placed on lockdown for about two hours during a standoff. No one was hurt.

UPDATE: 7:05 p.m. Saturday:
No injuries were reported after a police stand-off Saturday afternoon with a man who allegedly fired a gun outside a Market Basket in Lee.
Lee police say the man was taken into custody after about two hours. He allegedly fired several gunshots in the parking lot of the shopping plaza at the Route 125 and Route 4 traffic circle.
The plaza also includes a Planet Fitness and a state liquor store.
Witnesses told NHPR that the plaza went into lock-down, and employees and shoppers were told to stay away from windows. The man allegedly continued to brandish his weapon in the parking lot, and police surrounded him with armored vehicles.
Police say the man was brought to Wentworth Douglass Hospital as a precaution after he was taken into custody.
Officials did not confirm to NHPR as of last evening whether the man was arrested or faces any charges.
UPDATE, 1:54 p.m. Saturday: Police say on social media that they have taken a suspect into custody at the Market Basket plaza, and that no one is injured. Further details were not immediately available.

A shopping plaza in Lee is locked down amid a reported police confrontation with an armed man.
People on scene say a man fired a gun in the air outside the Market Basket at the plaza around noon Saturday, and is now in a stand-off with police.
The grocery store and neighboring businesses, off the Route 125 and Route 4 traffic circle, are now on lockdown.
The armed man remains in the parking lot, according to assistant manager Tony Dye of the neighboring state liquor store. Dye says state and local police have weapons trained on the man, with armored vehicles also on scene.
Dye says he does not believe anyone is injured or was struck by gunshots.
Shift leader Ryan Sims at the neighboring Planet Fitness also told NHPR he does not believe anyone is hurt. He said they were told to stay away from their windows and wait for police instructions.
In a Facebook post, a man listed as a Strafford police lieutenant describes the situation as an “active shooter.”
