New Hampshire US Senator Jeanne Shaheen is set to meet this week with President Obama's nominee to the US Supreme Court.
Shaheen is set to meet with Judge Merrick Garland on Tuesday afternoon in Washington.
She's criticized the Senate's Republican leadership for refusing to schedule hearings or votes on Garland's nomination, saying the Senate has a duty under the Constitution to do so.
Republican US Senator Kelly Ayotte, meanwhile, has said she would meet with Garland, but believes the Supreme Court vacancy should only be filled after the presidential election in November.
