Public health officials say a child has been diagnosed with measles in New Hampshire and may have exposed others to infection at three locations in Keene last week.

The Department of Health and Human Services said the child was in the nursery at the United Church of Christ on Sunday, May 12, and at a coffee hour gathering at the church.

The child also was in the infant and toddler room at Keene Montessori School on Thursday and at the walk-in clinic at Cheshire Medical Center that afternoon.

Anyone who was at those locations should review their vaccination or immunity status, and those who are not immune may need immediate vaccination.

U.S. health officials said last week that this year's count of measles cases has surpassed 800, the highest tally in 25 years.
