AG Says Estranged Husband Shot and Killed Couple in Wolfeboro Last Month

New Hampshire authorities said Friday that an estranged husband shot and killed a couple in Wolfeboro two weeks ago.

The Attorney General's office made the announcement, based on evidence conducted collected during the investigation, that Kevin Moran, 41, of Ossipee, was identified as the suspect soon after the murders.

Police officers responding to a home on Lakeview Drive in Wolfeboro on Oct. 21 found Kris Dube, 36, and girlfriend Kathleen Moran, 36, suffering from gunshot wounds. Dube died at the scene. Moran died later at the hospital.

The AG said Kevin Moran, unhappy with their relationship, had threatened them both. The day after the shooting, he checked himself into a hospital and remained hospitalized until Tuesday. The next day, upon his release, Moran shot and killed himself in a car outside his home, according to the state.
