Council on Diversity and Inclusion Travels to Nashua
Governor Sununu's Advisory Council on Diversity and Inclusion will hold another listening session in Nashua Thursday.
The public forums are meant to collect stories and concerns from the community so that they can affect future policy and legislation.
So far the council has lead sessions in Durham, Portsmouth and Claremont.
The events have sparked conversation between residents, law enforcement officers and policy makers.
But turnout at some of the meetings has so far been lackluster. The Council's preliminary report acknowledged that more community engagement was necessary in order to hear as many voices as possible.
Later this year, the Council plans to outline a formal report on its findings, which will then be sent to the Governor's office.
