New Hampshire Senator Jeanne Shaheen is calling for a classified briefing to learn more about what President Donald Trump shared with Russian officials during a meeting in the Oval Office.

Trump reportedly shared highly classified information with the Russian foreign minister having to do with a terrorist threat from the Islamic State.

"I'm very concerned about that, as a member of both the Armed Services and Foreign Relations committees," Shaheen said.

Shaheen says she’s worried about what the Russians might be able to discern based on what was said to them.

“But I’m also concerned about the impact long-term on our allies who share intelligence with us, as well as on the intelligence community here in America, and what it means for them going forward.”

The White House disputes the report, claiming the information the president shared during the meeting was “wholly appropriate.”
