The federal investigation says Kwiatkowski is the source of the outbreak, in which at least 30 patients have tested positive for the same strain of Hepatitis C since the investigation began in late May.

U.S. Attorney John Kacavas announced the charges today. He tells All Things Considered host Brady Carlson about that announcement and why he says the investigation into the outbreak is just beginning.
