State officials say 41-year-old Ryan Prudhomme of Pelham was armed with a handgun.

Body cam footage released Thursday shows two officers during their brief interaction with Mischa Pataski-Fay, who approached them with a knife.

Police received a 911 call around 3:25 a.m. for a report of a person who was armed at the building, the Attorney General's office said.

The 33-year-old man died from a gunshot fired by the security guard, according to an official with the attorney general's office.

The New Hampshire Center for Justice and Equity hosted the event, in association with NHPR and New Hampshire PBS.

The identities of the officers have not been released by authorities. No officers were injured.

The initial responding officers did not have body cameras. Investigators will be reviewing whether police vehicle cameras’ video or audio recorded any portion of the episode.

The president delivered short remarks on the officer-involved shooting of 20-year-old Daunte Wright, which led to protests overnight in Minnesota.

The Brooklyn Center, Minn., officer who is said to have shot Wright is Kim Potter, a 26-year veteran. Police Chief Tim Gannon said the officer meant to deploy a Taser — but pulled a gun instead.
