  • Apple Harvest Day: Apple Harvest Day is Saturday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m, in downtown Dover.
  • It Was Fifty Years Ago Today ... The tribute to the Beatles' "White Album" is at the Capitol Center for the Arts in Concord on Sunday, Oct. 6, at 7:30 p.m. Event page here.

  • Symphony NH: New Hampshire's oldest professional orchestra, which kicks off its 96th season with conductor Roger Kalia as Music Director, performs Saturday, 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., at the Keefe Center for the Arts in Nashua. Symphony NHMore info here. And catch the symphony Sunday, too, 3-5 p.m., at Concord City Auditorium.
  • Powder Keg Beer and Chili Festival: The popular beer and chili bash is back on Swasey Parkway in Exeter. The Powder Keg runs from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, and tickets run $35. 
  • Electric Earth Concerts: Electric Earth Concerts - Danika the Rose with Odds Bodkin at Bass Hall at the Monadnock Center for History and Culture in Peterborough, Sunday, Oct. 6, 4-6 p.m. More info here.
  • Charmingfare Farm's Pumpkin Festival - Visit Charmingfare Farmin Candia for a festival that features everything from a cow-milking contest to pony rides. And plenty of pumpkins. 
  • Lee DeWyze performs at the Bank of NH Stage, presented by Capitol Center for the Arts, Sunday at 8 p.m. You remember Lee, right?! He's the American Idol winner in season 9 of the live performance competition.
  • Blessing of the Animals: St. Paul's Episcopal Church at 21 Centre St. in Concord will have its "Blessing of the Animals" at services this weekend. More info here.
  • Archer Mayor: Author Archer Mayor is at Gibson's Bookstore on Sunday, 2-3:30 p.m. He's out with his new book, "Bomber's Moon."
