Gov. Hassan Requests Disaster Declaration For April Flooding

Governor Hassan is requesting a federal disaster declaration following mid-April flooding in Carroll and Coos Counties.

Heavy rain and snowmelt washed out roads and a bridge in the town of Columbia. The damage is estimated at nearly $ 2million.

A disaster declaration would bring in federal money for rebuilding efforts.
