Authorities in New Hampshire say nothing suspicious was found at a Portsmouth court following a bomb threat.

Portsmouth Police Chief Robert Merner says a threat was called into the Portsmouth Circuit Court at 2:27 p.m. Tuesday. Police evacuated the courthouse, a nearby middle school and multiple local businesses.

A New Hampshire State Police K-9 team arrived at the scene around 3:45 p.m. to check the building for explosives. Nothing was found and the area was given the all clear at 4:04 p.m.

The area has been reopened to the public.
