Christopher Cantwell, a prominent Keene-based white nationalist, is suing two people who recently testified against him in court in Virginia.

Cantwell hasn't been home to Keene since August. That's when violence erupted at the 'Unite the Right' rally in Charlottesville. Cantwell was charged by local law enforcement for his use of pepper spray in the crowd.

His trial is scheduled for February, but the court heard testimony in the case in earlier proceedings. Cantwell alleges some of the witnesses simply lied about what happened at the rally. "These people don't like my politics and they think that gives them license to lie in court, he said. “That is a profound injustice that needs to get corrected."

He's seeking hundreds of thousands of dollars in damages.
