flickr/bcgrote

The state is planning bridge work today in Manchester.

The Department of Transportation says crews will repair the westbound Exit 6 bridge on Amoskeag Street over Interstate 293.

They expect traffic to be reduced from three lanes to one from about 8 am to 3 pm.

The DOT says drivers should use alternate routes while the repair work is underway.
