House Judiciary Approves 2 Trump Impeachment Articles

The House Judiciary Committee voted along party-lines today to approve two articles of impeachment against President Donald Trump: abuse of power and obstruction of Congress.

Each vote was 23 to 17. The charges head now to the full U.S. House of Representatives for a vote next week.

Trump campaign manager Brad Parscale called it a "baseless, sham impeachment." The President sounded off on Twitter:

After a marathon markup-session Thursday, the committee recessed and plans to resume and likely vote on the articles Friday, Dec. 13, starting at 10 a.m.
