Why Are All These People Playing "The Final Countdown" On Church Organs?

While I was trying to find some suitable music for our Here's What's Awesome: Papal Edition segment, I stumbled across an interesting phenomenon: people apparently love playing pop music on church organs. From "Bohemian Rhapsody" to Adele's "Someone Like You," the pipe organ seems to be the emerging alt cover instrument....who knows maybe someday, it will surpass the ukulele.

But until that happens, let look at a few samples of one song that seems to be a favorite among those who tickle those organ ivories...Europe's "The Final Countdown." (Why, Dear Lord....WHY???)
