Writers on a New England Stage: Michael Connelly

Nancy Pastor/Polaris

International bestselling author Michael Connelly is the guest for the next installment of Writers on a New England Stage.

Connelly is the creator of the iconic homicide detective Harry Bosch of the Los Angeles Police Department; the character now features in the Amazon Studios series Bosch starring Titus Welliver as the titular character, with Connelly as the executive producer of the program. A former newspaper reporter, Connelly has written 31 novels that include #1 New York Times bestsellers, with sales of more than 74 million copies worldwide.

In his latest book, The Night Fire, Harry Bosch is back working a murder case with LAPD Detective Renée Ballard. The two take a look into an unsolved murder from years prior – a murder that Bosch’s mentor from his early days on the force just could not let go.

Michael Connelly will be joined in conversation with NHPR’s Peter Biello on Wednesday, October 23, at 7 p.m. at The Music Hall in Portsmouth. The literary conversation is part of Writers on a New England Stage, a partnership of The Music Hall and New Hampshire Public Radio.

For tickets, stop by The Music Hall box office (28 Chestnut Street, Portsmouth), call 603-436-2400, or purchase online.
