With Thanksgiving approaching, we consider our agricultural heritage in the Granite State. We talk with a few of the farmers who produce our food in this state to find out about the challenges that come with making a living off the land, take a look at challenges for farming in the future, especially in a warming climate, and we discover the joys of working with the earth and animals. - Kate Donald - she owns Stout Oak Farm, an organic vegetable farm in Brentwood. They grow vegetables for their farm stores, CSA shares, farmers markets and local restaurants.
- Beth Hodge - she runs Echo Farm Pudding with her sister, and is the Cheshire County Farm Bureau President.
- James Robertson - he runs Contoocook Creamery at the Bohanan Farm, a fifth generation family of farmers who cheese, butter and glass-bottled milk that they market themselves.
