A Note to Listeners: Bear Brook Podcast & ABC 20/20 Program

ABC NEWS 20/20: BEAR BROOK TO BE FEATURED ON FRIDAY, MARCH 20 BROADCAST

ABC affiliates around the country are currently running promotional materials regarding a two-hour program on Bear Brook, a long-running investigation involving four murders near a New Hampshire state park. The program is set to air on ABC News’ news magazine program, 20/20, this Friday evening, March 20 from 9 p.m. to 11 p.m. The program features NHPR’s Bear Brook podcast, and the work of our podcast host and reporter, Jason Moon.

New Hampshire Public Radio cooperated in the making of this program and worked with ABC News over a period of months as ABC pursued its own reporting on this story. However, as with any independent news organization, the completed product is the work of the ABC News 20/20 team.

With more than 12 million downloads, we know that there are many fans of the Bear Brookpodcast – both passionate followers in New Hampshire, across the U.S., and around the globe. With that in mind, we are notifying you of the air date of this broadcast. ABC News made its broadcast plans well before the COVID-19 pandemic came to dominate all our lives; the decision to air the program now is theirs.
