Southern New Hampshire University is launching a new bachelor’s degree program that will cost students $10,000 in total.

The university will offer the program through its online College for America and says it’s the first nationally available, accredited $10,000 Bachelor of Arts degree in the country.

Initial degrees through the program will include a BA in healthcare management and a BA in communications.

The university says the program will cost students $2,500 each year, with no additional costs for books, and is geared toward helping working adults attain a college degree.

The university says it has more than 50 employers nationwide willing to partner to make the program available to their employees.
