THE EDGE ENSEMBLE THEATRE COMPANY PRESENTS
MISERY by William Goldman, based on a novel by Stephen King

The Edge Ensemble’s fall show is Misery by William Goldman, based on Stephen King’s 1987 novel and subsequent 1990 film. When famed romance novelist Paul Sheldon is badly injured in a car crash that leaves him unconscious, he is rescued by his number one fan Annie Wilkes, who takes him to her secluded house to nurse him back to health. It rapidly becomes evident that Annie is mentally unstable. When a local sheriff comes to the house to investigate, all hell breaks loose.
The play premiered at the Bucks County Playhouse in November 2012 and opened on Broadway in 2015.
Kim Dupuis directs Catherine Verow, Mark DiPietro and Michael Auerbach in this dark psychological thriller which is sure to raise the hairs on the back of your neck.
Performances are November 14-15 and 20-22 at 7:30 PM and November 16 and 23 at 2 PM, at The Edge Theater. Tickets are $20 general admission, $18 for seniors and students, and must be purchased at the door by cash or check. No credit cards at this time. This Stop Avelo demonstration is in response to the lucrative contract Avelo Airlines has signed with ICE and the ongoing deportation flights they have been carrying out.

In the years before World War II, a tomboyish postulant at an Austrian abbey is hired as a governess in the home of a widowed naval captain with seven children and brings a new love of life and music into the home.

The Lemonheads return in 2025 with Love Chant (out via Fire Records, October 24th), their first studio album in nearly two decades - a bold, melodic reaffirmation of Evan Dando’s singular songwriting voice. Now, Gomez Addams must do something he’s never done before – keep a secret from his beloved wife, Morticia. Everything will change for the whole family on the fateful night they host a dinner for Wednesday’s “normal” boyfriend and his “normal” parents.
