Amy Klobuchar is ending her Democratic presidential camapign and she plans to endorse Joe Biden.
The Minnesota senator had her best result in New Hampshire, where she surged to a third-place finish with 58,796 votes, or nearly 20% of the vote in the Democratic primary.
She tried to position herself as the moderate choice in the large field of candidates.
The move to suspend her campaign comes on the eve of Super Tuesday, when voters in 14 states cast ballots, and two days after her sixth place finish in the South Carolina Primary.
Pete Buttigieg announced Sunday night he was suspending his campaign.
Klobuchar picked up some big endorsements, including The New York Times (which also endorsed Sen. Elizabeth Warren), the Quad-City Times in Iowa, and the Portsmouth Herald in New Hampshire.
