A winter weather advisory is in effect for most of New Hampshire starting at 7 p.m. Wednesday. The forecast calls for a wintry mix that will turn to freezing rain and sleet early Thursday morning.
There is a good chance of freezing drizzle until 11 a.m., before changing to rain, according to the National Weather Service.
Tom Hawley from the National Weather Service says the morning commute Thursday morning could be slippery.
He says it will warm up again later in the week, with high temperatures around 50 degrees with rain on Friday. Then the temperature will drop back down in the 20s this weekend.
The extended forecast: Saturday should be mostly sunny, with a high near 26, while Sunday will be mostly clear, with a high temp near 30 for greater Concord.
