Snow and some freezing rain are in the forecast for today across New Hampshire, making for a slippery commute for many motorists.
The National Weather Service has a winter weather advisory for most of the Granite State until 4 p.m. Snowfall is expected to become a freezing drizzle in the afternoon, according to the forecast.
Advisory speed limits are reduced on major roadways.

Heavy snow is possible for the mountains and higher elevations as part of a storm front coming Wednesday.
The National Weather Service reports that central and southwestern New Hampshire will see 1- to 2- inches of snow, and possibly considerable ice accumulation later in the day Tuesday. The seacoast will see a wintry mix, with sleet turning to rain in the afternoon.
Northern New Hampshire and ski areas may get notable snowfall: Tuesday's range is 3-6 inches, followed by a possible 5- to 10- inches by the end of Wednesday's storm.
