FBI Special Counsel Robert Mueller delivered a statement Wednesday about his investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election.

Mueller noted that the probe did not determine whether President Donald Trump committed a crime because of Department of Jusitce policy that a president cannot be charged with a federal crime while he is in office. He closed his remarks by saying , "There were multiple, systemic efforts to interfere in our election, and that allegation deserves the attention of every American."
