Data Reveal Low Insurance Enrollment Figures In New Hampshire

In New Hampshire, 269 residents have selected health plans through the new marketplace, according to figures released Wednesday by the federal government.

The Obama Administration says more than 4,000 New Hampshire consumers took the first step and completed applications during the first month of open-enrollment. During that same period, 1,643 were determined eligible for Medicaid in the state.

New Hampshire is partnering with the federal government to run the marketplace, though Washington is responsible for the troubled 'healthcare.gov' website.

Vermont, which is managing its own exchange, reports more than 1,300 residents selected health plans in October.
