Juneau begins digging out after record-breaking snowfall

Schools and roads are reopening this week in southeast Alaska after record-breaking snowfall caused avalanches, flooding and infrastructure challenges across the region.

Here & Now‘s Peter O’Dowd speaks with Robert Barr, deputy city manager at the City and Borough of Juneau, about what recovery looks like in the town.
