Special Coverage: Upcoming Primaries

As part of NHPR’s continuing coverage of key stops on the road to the 2020 U.S. presidential election, NHPR will offer special coverage of the “Big Tuesday” primaries and caucuses on Tuesday, March 10. On that day, voters will go to the polls in Idaho, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, North Dakota and Washington.

Tuesday, March 10

8 p.m. - 11 p.m.

Coverage of the primaries starts at 8 p.m. on NHPR, and is expected to run until 11 p.m., and possibly later. Susan Davis and Jeremy Hobson will host NPR’s coverage, joined by members of the NPR Politics team: Scott Detrow, Asma Khalid, Don Gonyea, Juana Summers, Ron Elving, Mara Liasson, Domenico Montanaro, Danielle Kurtzleben, Tamara Keith and Pam Fessler.

Tuesday, March 17

8 p.m. - 11 p.m.

On March 17, NHPR will broadcast special coverage of the St. Patrick’s Day primaries in four states: Arizona, Florida, Illinois and Ohio. The Northern Mariana Islands will also hold a Republican Caucus on that day.

NPR coverage on NHPR begins at 8 p.m., and is expected to last until 11 p.m., and possibly later. Susan Davis and Scott Simon will host coverage, joined by members of the NPR Politics team: Scott Detrow, Asma Khalid, Don Gonyea, Juana Summers, Ron Elving, Mara Liasson, Domenico Montanaro, Danielle Kurtzleben, Tamara Keith and Miles Parks.
