Fiorina PAC Looks To Mobilize Women For GOP

Former Hewlett Packard CEO Carly Fiorina told more than 200 Republican activists that the GOP needs to do better when it comes to winning the support of women.

She said all Republicans -- but females in particular -- need to fight what she called the "baseless propaganda" that GOP is waging a war on women.

Fiorina says the best way to do that is through grassroots organizing and one to one outreach.

"Women voters are going to make the difference this year, we know it. Now more than ever we need to revive our party and help women understand why our policies can help improve their lives."

Women have helped Democrats in recent elections.

In 2012, exit polls in N.H. showed President Obama enjoyed a 16 point edge among women.

A poll released by NBC news last week found N.H. women favored Senator Jeanne Shaheen over Republican challenger Scott Brown by a 25 point margin.

Fiorina's PAC, know as UP, is focusing on swing states. In addition to N.H., the PAC , also plans to be active in North Carolina, Michigan, Iowa, Virgina and Colorado.
