Rockingham County Commissioners tabled a contract with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement indefinitely, halting for now a plan to house up to 150 adult male detainees in the county jail in Brentwood, New Hampshire.

If approved by the three Rockingham County commissioners, the jail would house — for at most five years — up to 150 adult men from the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement at a rate of $151.66 per person per day.
