Goffstown, Dunbarton Police Investigating Explosive Devices

Police in Goffstown and Dunbarton, New Hampshire are investigating five explosive devices, several of which were detonated in trash cans and a mailbox.

Reports of the first explosion came in Tuesday night. As police were investigating that device detonated in a trash can on Gorham Pond Road, a second explosion went off nearby — also in a trash can.

WMUR-TV reportsthat while police were investigating the first two explosions, a third device was detonated in a mailbox in town. On Wednesday, another device, with explosives packed into an aluminum can, was found on a road. It didn't go off.

Dunbarton police are also investigating an explosion.

The State Police Bomb Squad is assisting in the investigation.
