International bestselling author and renowned physicist Brian Greene will discuss his highly-anticipated new book Until the End of Time at the next installment of Writers on a New England Stage. In his latest work, Greene takes readers on a journey across time, offering a breathtaking exploration of the cosmos and humanity’s quest to understand it.
Greene is a professor of physics and mathematics, and director of Columbia University’s Center for Theoretical Physics in New York City. He is renowned worldwide for his discoveries in superstring theory – an idea that at some fundamental level, all the various forces of reality are tied together as part of the same framework. The professor’s books have some more than two million copies worldwide; he’s hosted episodes of NOVA on PBS based on his books; and he’s a co-founder of the World Science Festival.
