Community Calendar

Sunday Camp (Ages 4-6) meets from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. one Sunday afternoon per month, beginning Sunday, September 15, 2024. This program is free, and no membership is required. Our Sunday Camp Teacher uses a mix of music, crafts and games to introduce students to the Jewish calendar, prayer, Torah and Hebrew.

Celebrate spring at Strawbery Banke with Springfest! Meet lambs and other baby animals and their moms, while learning about their roles in historic New England farming. Watch live demonstrations including oxen at work, traditional sheep shearing, sheepdog trials, and honey extraction.

Families can enjoy hands-on activities like gardening and seed-saving, explore the Museum’s nationally recognized gardens through tours and demonstrations, and browse the plant sale featuring varieties grown in the historic gardens.

Portsmouth Orange Cake Bake-Off (Sunday)
Local bakeries present their takes on the classic 19th-century New Hampshire orange cake in honor of the nation’s 250th.

Rooted in the sound of the Blue Note era but alive with modern energy, his music moves effortlessly from laid-back ballads to toe-tapping burners—perfect for a relaxed Sunday morning with family and friends.

Joining Cron is a powerhouse band featuring the dynamic Brooke Sofferman on drums, soulful John Piazza Jr. on trumpet and vocals, and the always amazing Bruce Gertz on bass.

Our Mother's Day High Tea Brunch and Wine Pairing is an experience to share with Mom, sisters, family, friends and the wine and Tea lovers in your life but don't wait to purchase your tickets as our events sell out quickly.

Our Mother's Day High Tea Brunch and Wine Pairing include the following items per guest: a cup of hot tea, a pre-set 4 course High Tea inspired brunch, and a pre-selected flight of four wines samples (must be 21+). Non-Alcoholic flight available upon request.

The afternoon will feature the expressive artistry of flautist Anne Longtin-Groton-trained, recently celebrated for her historic performance in Havana, Cuba-whose warm tone and lyrical phrasing drift effortlessly through our vineyard’s towering pines and into the charm of our 1830s tasting room, adding a graceful, uplifting elegance to the celebration.

We’re thrilled to welcome Chef Jerry of Homestyle Catering, whose culinary creativity shines in a scrumptious four-course menu inspired by traditional High Tea - complete with delicate finger sandwiches, patisseries, and other irresistible delights. Chef Jerry and his family bring the heart and soul behind our most memorable gatherings, their handcrafted dishes complementing the peaceful beauty of our New Hampshire vineyard.

We’re honored to feature tea curated by Danielle Beaudette, owner of The Cozy Tea Cart in Brookline, NH and one of the world’s first certified Tea Specialists. Renowned internationally for her deep expertise and global tea studies, Danielle brings a touch of refinement and tradition that pairs beautifully with the vineyard’s timeless charm.

Wine tasting/pairing are complementary with your purchase for those 21+ only. Seating will be throughout our outdoor or tented venue based on your party size and weather, for parties of 10 guests or more please contact us in advance for seating availability. Children 5 and under may share your meal; guests 6 and older require a ticket. Please notify us in advance if children will be attending so we can properly prepare for your party. Well Mannered pets are welcome.

Doors open for seating 30 minutes prior to reservation time and Brunch will be served promptly at time reserved.

Each workshop is hands-on, designed for true beginners ages 7 and up, and provides all materials. All children (7-15) must be accompanied by a paying adult. By the end of the series, you’ll have a collection of handmade fiber creations and a strong foundation in carding, spinning, weaving, and felting techniques.

Join the Society for the Protection of New Hampshire Forests in celebrating its 125th anniversary by connecting with nature this spring. The Forest Society Education Center at Creek Farm is offering a diverse lineup of hikes, workshops, and historical talks to kick off the season.

“We are thrilled to welcome the public to the Little Harbor area to explore the natural beauty and history of Creek Farm,” said Emily Bartoloni, Southeast Region Program Manager. “Whether you are interested in wildlife tracking, local history, or just getting outside with your family and pets, these programs offer a special way to experience the Seacoast’s spring awakening.”

The following programs will be held at Creek Farm, located at 400A Little Harbor Road, Portsmouth:

Family Hike: All-ages Ecology
Sunday, May 10 from 1 to 3 p.m., Cost: $20-$35
Deepen your family’s connection to the coastal ecosystem. This guided exploration focuses on the unique ecology of the Little Harbor area, identifying the plants and animals that call this tidal landscape home.

Note to Attendees: Registration is required. All programs are rain or shine. Participants are encouraged to bring water, snacks, and binoculars. Public restrooms are available on-site.
