N.H. Swift Water Rescue Team Heading to Carolinas to Help Hurricane Florence Response

A swift water rescue team from New Hampshire is leaving tonight for the Carolinas to assist with emergency response efforts for Hurricane Florence.

A team of 14 first responders from seven fire safety departments in the Granite State will join emergency personnel from other regions for this mass mutual aid call, according to the N.H. Department of Homeland Security and Emergency Management.

The team is FEMA-certified. The responders come from: Amherst, Bedford, Conway, Goffstown, Keene, Manchester, and North Conway.
