A public meeting is scheduled on the blood test results from people who were exposed to dangerous chemicals at the former Pease Air Force Base.

The Portsmouth Herald reports the New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services will hold the meeting at 6 p.m. on June 16 at the Community Campus in Portsmouth.

State epidemiologist Dr. Benjamin Chan says every person who's been blood tested has received their individual results.

He says this meeting will provide a broader context to help participants of the blood testing program interpret their results. Participants will be able to ask questions.

The city of Portsmouth closed the Pease base's Haven well in May 2014 after high levels of perfluorooctane sulfonic acid were found in its water supply.
