Here’s How To Celebrate Earth Day This Weekend In New Hampshire

via TimeandDate.com

Monday, April 22, is Earth Day in New Hampshire and across the world. The Granite State is celebrating with everything from tree-plantings and night hikes, to trail clean-ups and a forum on environmental policy.

The Children's Museum of New Hampshire in Dover will mark Earth Day Monday by planting flowers and giving out tree saplings. They'll also feature crafts and workshops with local landscaping companies and a solar power installer.

Across the state in Keene, several environmental groups will host a town hall about the Green New Deal Monday night at Antioch University. It's part of a national tour in support of the expansive climate change response plan.

Later in the week, on Wednesday, volunteers can help clean up the trails on Mount Major. It's an annual Earth Day celebration, hosted by the Society for the Protection of New Hampshire Forests and the Belknap Range Conservation Coalition.
