Opera North Man of La Mancha

Opera North put on a spectacular performance of Swingers and Singers at an incredible venue in Cornish, NH. Their collaboration with Saint-Gaudens National Historic Site to turn Blow-Me-Down Farm into a new culture venue should prove very interesting indeed.

Directed by Evan Pappas. Dale Wasserman, Mitch Leigh and Joe Darion invited us to Dream the Impossible Dream in one of the most enduring and popular musicals ever written, inspired by Miguel de Cervantes’ Don Quixote. Winner of five Tony Awards and revived on Broadway four times. The plot follows the adventures of the mad knight Don Quixote, his manservant Sancho Panza and his muse Aldonza/ Dulcinea.
