30th Annual Nashua Winter Stroll
30th Annual Nashua Winter Stroll
The city’s most beloved holiday tradition returns for its 30th year and this milestone Winter Stroll promises to be the biggest and brightest yet. Presented by Great American Downtown, the Nashua Winter Stroll transforms Main Street into a sparkling winter wonderland filled with lights, laughter, music, and community spirit.
The evening kicks off at 5:00 PM with the traditional candlelit procession from the Nashua Center for the Arts, led by Santa Claus, Mayor Jim Donchess, and a special guest. The procession will make its way to the new Riverfront Pavilion, where the community will gather for the lighting of a magnificent 25-foot Christmas tree.
This year introduces several exciting new attractions to mark the 30th anniversary celebration:
A synthetic ice-skating rink with free skate rentals
A 40-foot, three-lane snow tubing slide
The Little Locomotive trackless train, offering free rides along Main Street all evening
These new features join beloved Winter Stroll traditions, including live performances on three stages, over 50 musical and theatrical acts, 20+ local vendors and food trucks, and festive storefront activities hosted by downtown businesses. From choral groups and dance troupes to local bands and street performers, the entire downtown will be alive with holiday cheer.
“The Winter Stroll brings together everything that makes Nashua special: our creativity, community, and downtown spirit,” said Great American Downtown Executive Director Alyssa O’Mara. “This year’s 30th anniversary is a celebration not just of the event, but of the people who make it shine year after year.”
Recognized as one of New Hampshire’s largest and most cherished holiday events, the Winter Stroll welcomes tens of thousands of visitors each year to enjoy the magic of the season in the heart of downtown Nashua.
Bundle up, bring the whole family, and be part of this unforgettable night of community celebration, dazzling lights, and holiday joy.
