In this special series and continuing coverage, reporter Jack Rodolico examines the scope of the problems and the state's role in Lakeview's story.

The documentary followed up on NHPR's news series about Lakeview NeuroRehabilitation Center, and was reported by NHPR's Jack Rodolico and Reveal's Laura Starecheski. It digs into the history of Lakeview, and unveils 40 years of alleged abuse and neglect of people with disabilities at specialty rehab centers across the U.S.
