The Female Pilots Who Made History: A Conversation with Keith O'Brien About His Book, "Fly Girls"

Houghlin Mifflin Harcourt

We talk with author Keith O'Brien, who lives in New Hampshire, about his new book, Fly Girls: How Five Daring Women Defied All Odds And Made Aviation History. The book takes us back almost a century ago, when a cadre of female pilots compete in the nation's wildly popular air races.

O'Brien will be at Gibson's Bookstore in Concord, NH on Thursday evening at 5:30 p.m. to discuss his book. Find more information here

Keith O'Brien is an award-winning journalist and former reporter for the Boston Globe and the New Orleans Times-Picayune. He has written for the New York Times Magazine, and contributed to NPR and Politico.
