Other light bites offered at a la carte prices. The Willing Workers Society is a non-profit, non-sectarian organization of women from several communities. Proceeds benefit area communities’ charitable services and fund an aware for a graduating senior who will be attending college. 

YARD SALE BENEFITS SUGAR HILL HISTORICAL MUSEUM
Saturday June 11 & Sunday June 12 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM at the Sugar Hill Lupine Market, 1401 Route 117, Sugar Hill. All proceeds go to the historical museum’s building fund. The three-building campus of the Sugar Hill Historical Museum reflects the long history of Sugar Hill’s people, places and culture. The main 2016 exhibit is “Clotheslines”, a clothing and textile exhibit that includes table lines and accessories. Other exhibits include the Cobleigh Tavern, carriages, a reproduction of a local blacksmith’s shop, an extensive hand tool collection, a model kitchen with wood stove and utensils in homemade cupboards. The library contains a large photograph collection and historical and genealogical references. Museum publications and a variety of treasures can be found in the gift shop. Admission to the museum is free but donations are gratefully accepted. The museum is open 11:00 AM - 3:00 PM Friday and Saturdays, Memorial Day weekend through Columbus Day weekend. Tuesday June 14 7:00 PM Abbie Greenleaf Library, Main Street. The Franconia Heritage Museum is sponsoring this talk by Steve Taylor in conjunction with their newly opened exhibit, The Grange: A Voice for the Farmers. The talk will cover the rise of the Grange movement, its triumphs and its decline in the 20th century. LITTLETON AREA YOUTH FIELD HOCKEY
July 6, 11, 13, 18, 20 & 25 4:30 - 6:00 PM Norton Pike Field, Highland Avenue, Littleton. Girls in grades K - 6 are invited to learn the basics of field hockey and have some fun. Skills, drills, games, open to girls in Littleton and surrounding towns, no cost, registration is not required but it is recommended. If you would like to order a Tshirt, they are $10, wear sneakers and bring a water bottle, field hockey sticks provided if you do not have one, shin guards and mouth guards are required.
