ISLAY MIST CEILIDH AND FIRESIDE FIDDLERS, COLEBROOK
Friday March 25 7:00 PM Tillotson Center, 14 Carriage Lane. Two of the region’s most popular ensembles share the bill in a show presented by the Great North Woods Committee for the Arts. Tickets $15. Islay Mist Ceilidh performs the music of the Celtic world, bringing together reels, jigs, airs and more from Scotland, Ireland, Cape Breton and beyond. NH MAPLE EXPERIENCE AT THE ROCKS, BETHLEHEM
Saturdays March 26 and April 2 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM The Rocks Estate, 4 Christmas Lane. Learn about and participate in each step of maple sugaring. Participants drill holes in the trees, put taps in, hang buckets, learn to identify different types of trees and how to tap your own trees at home. There are also horse-drawn wagon rides, interpretive guides, local history and information about sugaring. The cost is $15 for adults and $12 for children. BROADCAST OF HANDEL’S MESSIAH, ST. JOHNSBURY
Saturday March 26 1:00 PM Catamount Arts, 115 Eastern Avenue. Broadcast of Easter weekend performance of Handel’s Messiah by the Mormon Tabernacle Choir and Orchestra at Temple Square plus four soloists from the Metropolitan Opera. Participants are invited to sing along with the choir. No admission cost. If you would like, you can make a monetary donation or bring a non-perishable food item to donate to the Kingdom Community Services Food Shelf.

RED CROSS BABYSITTING COURSE, BETHLEHEM
Saturday April 9 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM Bethlehem Public Library, 2245 Main Street. For boys and girls age 11 and older, this class teaches how to keep other children and themselve safe, basic child care, as well as pediatric CPR and first aid. This course offers skills to care for children of all ages. Class size is limited and registration is required. The cost of the course is $20 payable no later than the day of the class.
