N.H. GOP Headquarters Vandalized With 'Nazis' Graffiti

The graffiti was found in the back of the building next to a window that was smashed by a rock.

The headquarters of the New Hampshire Republican Party in Concord was vandalized overnight.

When GOP staffers arrived at their office in Concord Thursday morning, they were greeted by a ten-foot tall heart spray painted on the back of the building. In the heart's center was the word "NAZIS" in capital letters.

A police report has been filed with the Concord Police Department.

The window next to the graffiti was also smashed by a rock.

Party spokesman Patrick Hynes says no damage was done to the inside of the building,  and the graffiti is a symptom of the tense political climate.

“I think we should tone down our rhetoric – we all have people that we disagree with and those people should not be vandalized and their personal property should not be destroyed," Hynes said. "We can disagree without being disagreeable.”

This isn’t the first time the state Republican headquarters has been vandalized.

In 2013, that same spot was spray painted with a message calling for health care for all.
