The attorney general's office has obtained a temporary restraining order against a New Hampshire water park closing its "speed slides" attraction until the park gets required design approvals from the state.
The office says the Liquid Planet water park in Candia had received notice regarding the attraction. The Department of Environmental Services said water samples taken from the speed slides had unsanitary levels of coliform bacteria. It also said the park opened the slides without first obtaining design approval from the department.
Water samples for the remaining attractions at Liquid Planet were within normal standards.
Liquid Plant has started working with the DES to address the issues.
