Businesses have water again on Main Street in Concord after a water main break caused by a construction crew flooded part of the street.
The water main break from Tuesday didn't leak into any buildings and has not delayed construction on Main Street.
A crew was doing utility work when a large steel trench shield slipped and cracked the 20-inch water main, sending thousands of gallons of water into the street.
Water was shut off to businesses for the day, and some were closed or shortened their hours.
The Concord Monitor reports Ed Roberge of Severino Trucking Co. said the company would bear the cost of repairs to the water main.
A groundbreaking ceremony to mark the Concord Main Street Project is scheduled for Monday.
