White Mountain Voices Present: A Tribute to The Great American Songbook

White Mountain Voices Present: A Tribute to The Great American Songbook

The concert will feature White Mountain Voices under the direction of Victoria Cole, joined by White Mountain Youth Voices and a live ensemble of regional musicians including Joseph Hansalik (piano), Melanie Donohue (sax), Gary Mathews (bass), Kent Foss (trumpet), and Rick Erwin (drums). Audiences can look forward to a spirited and nostalgic musical journey through classics made famous by Duke Ellington, George and Ira Gershwin, Irving Berlin, Hoagy Carmichael, and others. From upbeat swing favorites to tender ballads, the program highlights the enduring charm and emotional depth of the American song tradition.
Concert selections include favorites such as On the Sunny Side of the Street, I Got Rhythm, Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy, Come Rain or Come Shine, That Old Black Magic, and What a Wonderful World
“This program is joyful, recognizable, and full of character,” said Artistic Director Victoria Cole. “It brings together music that people know and love, performed by singers and musicians from our own region. We’re especially excited to feature our young singers as part of this celebration.”
