Massachusetts health officials have added New Hampshire and Maine to its list of states where travelers must quarantine or provide a negative coronavirus test.
The two join 46 other states to be designated high risk for COVID-19 by the state's Department of Health.
Hawaii and Vermont are the only states where travelers currently do not need to heed the safety orders when arriving or returning to Massachusetts.
Vermont, meanwhile, is increasing its contract tracing staff and testing capacity as it continues to see a surge in coronavirus cases. Officials say they'll add 30 more people to the state's contact tracing staff of about 40.
